Reserve Engine

The reserve engine receives fee balances and converts them into acquisitions against the configured target weights. It is the only component with a mandate to buy, and it has no mandate to sell.

Acquisition order

For a settlement of size `F` and target weights `w`, the engine places orders of `F * w` per asset, subject to execution constraints. Weight drift is corrected by future settlements rather than by selling existing positions.

Constraints

• —Cannot sell Stockpile assets
• —Cannot hold fee balances indefinitely — acquisition is continuous per settlement
• —Cannot deviate from configured weights by discretion
• —Cannot acquire assets outside the configured basket
